PROMETHEE EARTH INTELLIGENCE
Prométhée Earth Intelligence is the French Newspace operator of a constellation of Earth Observation nanosatellites. Our aim is to democratize the use of satellite imagery for a safer, more sustainable world.
Founded in January 2020 by Olivier Piepsz and Giao-Minh Nguyen, Prométhée Earth Intelligence brings together recognized experts in space, digital and services.
Climate change and increased human activity have a direct impact on ecosystems and populations. It is essential to have the means to observe, monitor and predict these events. Today, nanosatellite constellations are the only way to provide near-real-time access to information at any time, anywhere in the world.
Prométhée Earth Intelligence responds to the challenges of crisis management and sustainable development by providing strategic intelligence and environmental intelligence services.
The range of applications offered by Prométhée Earth Intelligence is virtually unlimited, from maritime surveillance and critical infrastructure to the protection of ecosystems, water resources, flora and fauna, the fight against deforestation and illegal fishing, and natural disaster prevention.
YOUR MISSION
Working in Prométhée Earth Intelligence’s “Digital” division, you will be responsible for working on back-end projects for the company’s digital services and products.
Your mission will be to develop a cutting-edge web application and novel Earth Intelligence services deployed on the cloud, leveraging satellite imagery, IoT and data fusion technology. All in a microservices environment based on .NET and C#.
In order for you to achieve this goal, your responsibilities will be:
- Be able to analyze customer requests and transform them into code, supported by our business experts,
- Plan and document technical specifications for system functionality or design,
- Design, create and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements,
- Participate in code reviews,
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Diploma Bac +3 Bachelor’s degree
As part of our team of developers, you’ll play an important role in the development and maintenance of our digital platform. You will work closely with team members to design, develop and maintain the set of microservices that make up our backend, in an Agile approach (sprint, daily, review).
Your tasks will include :
- Designing and implementing upgrades in microservices
- Plan and document technical specifications
- Design/maintain relational databases (SQL Server, PostGreSQL)
- Help set up a CI/CD system
- Mastery of English in a professional environment
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Back-end or full stack developer.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Autonomous in application development, testing and delivery.
- Know how to write readable, maintainable, clean code.
- Feel at ease with design (specifications, estimates, etc.).
- Knowledge required :
- Languages: C# .NET core 6, git
- Protocols used: gRPC, REST API, WebSocket
- Database: SQL, NoSQL
- Optional knowledge :
- Go or Python
- Knowledge of Earth Observation would be a plus.
- Team player, flexible and enthusiastic
- Good level of autonomy and initiative.

- Position based in Paris. Available in Aix en Provence
- Open-ended contract
- Fixed salary plus variable according to experience.
- Partial teleworking possible
- Scheduled start ASAP
